FOUNDING VISION
The Corner Brook School was founded on the 8th of February 2009 as a humble 8-4-4 boys’ boarding high school in Juja. Its journey began with just two learners, and it was at exactly 6:35 a.m. that the very first student, Solomon Kihia, arrived to join the inaugural Form One class.
What started with such modest beginnings later grew into a remarkable institution, standing proudly on 9 acres of land boasting a football field, a basketball court, state-of-the-art facilities, and the dream of one day establishing a golf course.
The founder, Mr. Martin Njau Mburu, was a man whose deep passion for the boy child shaped the very heart of the school. A devout Christian, his philosophy of education was anchored in. Faith Values A Conviction that every boy deserved guidance, mentorship, and the tools to thrive in a rapidly changing world. His commitment saw him speak passionately at numerous forums before both the young and the old, often addressing distinguished audiences of men about the urgent need to empower and uplift the boy child.
